  This was the first time going to this location. Food was okay, but the grease needed changed - the fried foods were too dark, not golden. Service was a bit lacking even though they weren't busy. The server came by to check on us a couple times, but she was accommodating with what I wanted for dessert (I was disappointed with how small my selection was, I expected more for the price). Maybe the next time I go, the food will be better. I've eaten at the Elizabethton, TN location and their food was much better.

  Food was not very good, coffee tasted burnt, and the waiter was very rude. Never refilled our drinks and took plates without asking if we were finished. You couldn't get any help because the entire staff was huddled up in a corner chatting away.

  My family came to visiting and we ended up dining at Applebees on Tuesday December 27 around 6:30 PM. We waited for our table and began the worst dinner service of our life. The server left three glasses and trash and paper wrappers on the rail that separated our table from a walk-way. The host and servers set down ketchup bottles and dirty glassware there through our whole meal. No pepsi, no kids chicken fingers. Took 10 minutes to get 4 of 6 drinks an additional 3 for kids chocolate milk,We then proceeded to wait 35-40 for our dinner. The server informed us that we were waiting on the salad to be completed before they began dropping food off. After the first portion of our food was dropped off we were actually waiting on a kids mac and cheese. They then forgot the fries for the kids mac and cheese. The manager came over and made a cursory apology for the quality of food, no apology for the service. She was also kind enough to inform us that YESTERDAY a high school basketball team "wiped them out of food". I'm very sorry that the day before you had a rough time having enough food, TODAY over 12 hours later this group of 50 people is ruining my family dinner to celebrate two family birthday's. Our family drove over 4 hours to spend the day with us and have dinner. I am embarrassed that I entered your establishment. I'm am embarrassed that your company showed such a flippant attitude towards something that appleebees is supposed to be good at, Food and Good Service.
